We love Dr. Cole!

I had my 2 week check up today and everything looks great! Dr. Cole got to see Luke again and said he's just precious.. (of course!) She took such good care of me and Luke during the entire pregnancy and I can't thank her enough!!

Today was Luke's first day at church!! (yes, I know I wasn't supposed to have him out just yet but I kept him covered and didn't let anyone touch him... except Brother John)
The main reason I wanted to take him today was b/c this past week Brother John called to congratulate us on the birth of Luke and to let us know they would have a rose at the alter in honor of him! Luke did so good in church... He slept through the whole first part but once Brother John started talking Luke was awake and moving around (JUST like he did when he was in my belly and would hear him talking!!)

Luke's 2 week check-up

Today was Luke's 2 week check-up and the doctor (who we absoluely LOVE)  said "he's perfect"..... yeah, we think so too!! He has grown 2 inches already (from 18in to 20in) and has gained from 5lbs 3oz to 5lbs 13oz!! He's a growing boy!! He eats like a champ-- 2oz every 3 hours during the day and sleeps between 4-5 hours at night before another feeding.... we are sooo lucky!!!! Dr. Cook also commented on his long fingers and feet (maybe he'll be like a puppy dog and grow into those feet!) -- hopefully he'll have his daddy's height.....we're ready to watch this boy play some sports!!!!

I have so enjoyed this day with my 2 guys!! This was our morning...

And the perfect ending to our day was our yummy dinner: pork loin, garlic bread and salad while watching the Braves game and rocking my sweet lil man!!

Life is good!!!!

Ashlyn was so sweet-- she brought a carebear and blanket that her Uncle Trey gave her and gave it to her new baby brother LT!! (Talk about tearing up!!)
