BREAKING NEWS!!!!

Literally... breaking!

A certain cute little one year old has a pearly white breaking through those lil gums!!!

I know, I know... a year old and just now getting his first tooth (proud Mama moment!!!).... Guess we're not going to be toothless forever after all haha!

 Luke has made it very clear that he's going to do what he wants... when he wants-- Like waiting until 10 months old to crawl ha! Now I guess we just wait on the walking part... I'm sure he'll take his sweet little time on that, too. I think he's trying to be like his Mama and wait till he's 15 months old ; )

**SURPRISE**

I love surprises!!!! Well, except those little surprises that Luke likes to leave me in the bathtub ; )

For my 30th b-day, my sweet husband called up some of our friends to have them meet up and surprise me at La Conzuelas! We enjoyed some good food and drinks then headed over to our favorite pub, Fenians!!

Mother's Day AND a 1st B-day!!

I can not think of a better mother's day gift than the most amazing gift of my son turning ONE today! Saturday was spent having a birthday party for Luke. Of course, it rained like we all knew it was going to ...BUT lucky for us Luke's daddy is a fireman... which means we just moved the party right on next door to the bay of the fire station. The party went on, the kids loved it and best of all- we all stayed dry!!! I had a great photographer come and take pictures so that I could enjoy the party and not have to worry about walking around with a camera making sure I got all the perfect shots. It was nice to not have to take my camera out once! Now I have to patiently wait for the CD of pics... I'm way too anxious!!! But here are a few I have on my camera from today (his actual b-day.)

Happy 24th Birthday, Trey!

Luke wanted to wish his Uncle Trey a very happy birthday today! We are so blessed to have Trey as Luke's special guardian angel! We were going to go to Teoc this weekend to visit his grave and introduce Luke, but due to circumstances, out of our control, Kyle couldn't get off  work. We hope to make it up there soon to visit...

another happy Friday the 13th!

Just one more month until our sweet lil' man is the big O-N-E!! He is getting to be such a big boy and into EV-ER-Y-THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot turn my head for even a second now. But things are so much fun! His monthly pics I get in his rock n play have become quite a challenge the last few months! He refuses to lay in it while I try and snap a few shots. I wanted to do something that I could put together in the end of all his 12 months... well in the beginning it was easy b/c he was little and would just lay there. I thought it would be cute to have his blue minky dot blanket as the background but obviously that doesn't work out quite so well now.... oh well-- here is the best I could get!

Luke's 1st Easter!!

I am so very blessed! Sometimes I wonder how I could be so lucky to have all that I have... An awesome and forgiving God that sent his son to die for me, an amazing husband and son, our families that are always there for us, a church family that loves our little boy as much as we do... the list could go on and on! Today was such a special day to celebrate Luke's first Easter!

I noticed he was quiet while I was getting ready... this is what I found when I came to check on him.. He was trying to get to his basket...such a sneaky lil' dude!

Luke was SO handsome in his Easter outfit..I almost cried!

We went to visit daddy at the fire station! I even got an Easter happy... Kyle washed my car!! How many girls can say they had their car washed by a hot fireman?! ; ) Love my handsome hubby!
