another happy Friday the 13th!

Just one more month until our sweet lil' man is the big O-N-E!! He is getting to be such a big boy and into EV-ER-Y-THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot turn my head for even a second now. But things are so much fun! His monthly pics I get in his rock n play have become quite a challenge the last few months! He refuses to lay in it while I try and snap a few shots. I wanted to do something that I could put together in the end of all his 12 months... well in the beginning it was easy b/c he was little and would just lay there. I thought it would be cute to have his blue minky dot blanket as the background but obviously that doesn't work out quite so well now.... oh well-- here is the best I could get!

Luke's 1st Easter!!

I am so very blessed! Sometimes I wonder how I could be so lucky to have all that I have... An awesome and forgiving God that sent his son to die for me, an amazing husband and son, our families that are always there for us, a church family that loves our little boy as much as we do... the list could go on and on! Today was such a special day to celebrate Luke's first Easter!

I noticed he was quiet while I was getting ready... this is what I found when I came to check on him.. He was trying to get to his basket...such a sneaky lil' dude!

Luke was SO handsome in his Easter outfit..I almost cried!

We went to visit daddy at the fire station! I even got an Easter happy... Kyle washed my car!! How many girls can say they had their car washed by a hot fireman?! ; ) Love my handsome hubby!

Luke's 1st Easter egg hunt!!

Luke had so much fun at his first Easter egg hunt at our church!

They had a mini space jump for the little ones. He wasn't quite sure about it.. If he would have been at home he would be crawling and pulling up all over the place.... but he gets in this thing and sits completely still... Maybe we should invest in one of these for the house ; )

Luke got a prize egg with a "$2 bunny bucks" in it so he got to go to the "prize" table and pick something out... he chose the mini sandbucket set!

10 months!!

our sweet boy is 10 months old now! - I'm not sure whether to be excited or sad.... ok, so maybe I'm both. Excited that he's growing and learning so many new things but sad that it's going by so fast. He has been saying "dada" for a while now and just learned "mama" ... But now he actually knows the difference. I was in the other room tonight and Kyle was in the living room with him. When Luke realized I wasn't in the room he yelled "MAMA" and was turning around looking for me- smart kid!

9 months!

I absolutely love being this little boy's mama and watching him grow and learn so many new things!!

And I even got some goodies, too! Almost 30 years old and my daddy still gets me a card and candy for Valentine's day! My mom got me a book I've been wanting and my crazy ghetto husband made me a homemade card.. LOVE it!!

Oh, and the best part of today-- Luke learned to wave " bye bye"!!!! He loves it so  much that he was waving bye bye in his sleep tonight haha!
